1. What makes Margarida Atelier art unique?
All pieces are handmade by Margarida, signed, dated, and completely one-of-a-kind. The work is rooted in abstract expression, with a strong focus on colour, emotion, and authenticity.

2. What materials do you use?
Paintings / Canvases: High-quality professional paints, premium canvases, and archival-grade papers.
Scarves: 100% silk.

3. Do you accept commissions?
Yes. If you would like a custom piece—whether a specific size, colour palette, or theme—you can request one through the Commission page.

4. What happens after I place an order?
Once I receive your order confirmation email, your piece will be processed within 3–10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). This timeframe allows each item to be prepared with care and attention.
You will receive a second notification as soon as your order has been shipped.

6. How long does it take to create a work commission?
Processing times vary depending on whether the piece is ready-made or commissioned.
For commissions, an estimated timeline will be discussed before the project begins, as it depends on the complexity and scale of the artwork. However, the creation period will never be less than 3 weeks. -
7. What is your return / exchange policy?
Original Artwork & Commissions
All original artworks and commissioned pieces are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, as each item is handmade and one-of-a-kind.

Returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is:
- unused, in its original condition, andin its original packaging.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please email me within 48 hours with photos of:
the item, the packaging, and the shipping label. I will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, unless the item has already been shipped or work on a commission has begun.

8. Do you ship outside Portugal?
Yes, europe shipping is available. Delivery times and shipping costs vary by destination and will be calculated at checkout.

9. Do you offer framing?
At the moment, framing is not included, but I can provide recommendations or guidance if you need help selecting a frame that suits your piece and space.

10. Can I request a specific size for a commissioned piece?
Yes. Standard sizes are available, but custom dimensions can also be arranged. Please include your preferred size in your commission request so I can confirm availability.

11. What payment methods do you accept?
Most major payment methods are accepted, including credit/debit cards, MBway, PayPal, and bank transfer for commissions. All payments are securely processed.

12. How do I care for my artwork?
Paintings should be kept away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures. A light dusting with a soft cloth is enough to maintain them.
Scarves should be stored flat or hung, and dry-cleaned only to preserve the silk.
