Definitions

Seller:  Margarida Atelier

Buyer: a natural person who is of legal age and who is not acting within the context of practicing a profession or conducting a business, with whom the Seller concludes an Agreement.

Order: an order placed by the Buyer for the delivery of one or more products.

Product: a MARGARIDA ATELIER product that the Seller offers for sale on the Website.

Price: the price indicated on the Website for a Product, including the VAT and excluding shipping costs.

Agreement: The Order, which the Seller has accepted as such.

Shipping

After receiving your order confirmation email, I'll process it within 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for the garment to be made with care. After that, I'll go to the post office. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Packaging You will receive your artwork wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve and mailed in a rigid card inside the envelope so that it is well prepared. 

Shipping Time Calculations: We pack and ship all items within 3 to 5 working days of purchase.

  • Portugal: Ctt Post Standard Post: 3-7 business days

  • Europe: Ctt Standard Post: 10-22 business days

If your order takes longer than the estimated time, please double-check the submitted address, check with your local post, and contact us with your inquiry.

We will make the delivery in accordance with the agreed delivery dates to every extent possible; however, the Buyer acknowledges that the delivery dates are based on the circumstances of which the Seller is aware at the time at which the Agreement is concluded and, insofar as they are dependent on work or services to be provided by third parties, on the information that such third parties provide to the Seller.

Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paypal, Google Pay and Apple Pay payments. 

Customs, duties, Taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Margarida Atelier is not responsible for delays due to customs. 

Returns

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. Margarida Atelier will be not responsible for the shipping costs of the return.

If 14 days have gone by since the delivery of the product, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

You have 14 days to express your will to return the product, and another 14 days to return the product after the return is accepted. If these times are not followed, we reserve the right not to refund you.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. The refund will be credited in the same payment method as the purchase was made unless it isn't possible.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at amfnobre@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Complaints

The contact details of the Seller and of the third parties that the Seller has engaged to handle complaints can be found by clicking on the ‘Contact’ button on the Website.

The Buyer will be obliged to inspect the Product when it has been delivered and to notify the Seller within a reasonable term in the event that there are any visible defects or other complaints regarding the performance of the Agreement. Such complaints must be submitted in writing and must be fully and clearly substantiated.

The Seller will respond to any complaints that it receives within a term of 15 days after receipt.

The Buyer acknowledges that: minor deviations and deviations that are generally considered acceptable in respect of the quality, size, color, finishing, etc. of Products cannot be avoided or are difficult to avoid and do not constitute a well-founded reason to submit a complaint.

While we make every effort to describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can, we can provide no assurances that the colors of the products on our website will be accurate or that the products displayed will be suitable for the purpose you may intend. We will accept no liability for claims arising from differences in descriptions, sizes, or colors of the product displayed on or purchased through this website.

Security

This store automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits.

 

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected, used, and shared when a visitor or customer accesses MARGARIDA ATELIER.

Data Collection, Use & Storage

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number, and email address. Data collected during a transaction is stored securely for 36 months.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer Internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Browsing data is kept for up to 90 days from the date of your last visit.

We may send you marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from by clicking the link at the bottom of the email. We share your contact information with Squarespace and Mailchimp, our email marketing providers, so they can send these emails on our behalf.

We may email you with messages about your order or account activity. For example, we may email you to tell you that:

  • You’ve made a purchase

  • Your order has shipped

It’s not possible to unsubscribe from these messages.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, the online store transmits your credit card data. The stored data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
