What about my artistic expression?
My artistic expression has always arisen spontaneously. I was never a big fan of faithfully reproducing what I see in reality; since I was a child, what truly moved me was the desire to explore, experiment and follow my intuition. I grew up surrounded by papers, paints and brushes, and I remember asking my parents for materials because painting was simply where I felt at home.
I learned through books, a lot of practice and a constant curiosity to discover new ways to create. I started with the costume design and the portrait, but I quickly realized that the exact reproduction of an image did not challenge me - despite the deep admiration I have for artists who do it with such mastery. It was during my master's thesis in Design and Visual Culture that I discovered the fascination with the deconstruction of scenarios, the exploration of different perceptions and the demystification of forms. This moment opened a new path and awakened in me the need to go further, to understand how far I could go.
In 2017, I created my Instagram account without high expectations or defined plans. Over time, I realized that all I really wanted was to paint - something that has always been my space of comfort, freedom and expression.
Today, my artistic practice remains deeply intuitive. When I paint, I don't think too much: I let it flow. The concept flows, the emotion flows, the combination of colors flows that makes sense at that moment - a sensitivity that has also been refined throughout my professional experience as a designer. In the end, it is this dialogue between color, form and emotion that gives true life to my work.
