Original abstract painting, 2026, from the Inspirare collection
Expirare: Latin for to breathe out.
Where the collection begins to turn inward. A warm ochre ground, crossed by a strong gesture of cobalt blue, with touches of coral, rose and sage green. It’s the moment the breath leaves the body, the colours of letting go. Painted with the canvas loose on the floor, the whole body in the gesture.
