Each commission starts with the space: its light, its materials, its view. Not a print, and not a piece chosen from a catalogue. An original, conceived for the room and painted by hand in my studio.
How a commission works

You share the space: plans, photographs, materials, palette, and the atmosphere you are after.

I propose a direction for palette, scale and composition, with a sketch for your approval before any paint touches the canvas.

Three to eight weeks, depending on size.

Signed, with a certificate of authenticity, stretched and ready to hang. Delivered by specialised courier.
Scale & materials
Formats up to approximately 110 × 160 cm, on heavyweight cotton canvas or 100% cotton paper. Large canvases are cross-braced and keyed, so the tension holds for decades.

Meet the Founder
Margarida Nobre is an abstract painter working in Portugal since 2017. She holds a Master's in Visual and Cultural Language from IADE and has spent years in brand and art direction. She approaches every commission as a painting and as part of a space's identity.
